The margin is where I live
I am a proofreader, editor, and fiction writer, currently finishing my degree in English Studies and German Studies. I work fully in English and feel very much at home there.
I write fiction that is Woolfian in spirit – complex, with philosophical depth, images, and stream of consciousness. I am certain there is so much more hidden in-between the obvious and a deeper truth you can find if only you open your senses up to it. I care about the essence that threads through life, not just the words and punctuations.
On this site, you will find my musings on life and philosophy, books and the craft of writing, Woolf, art, and the stranger corners – the mystical, spiritual, and the unquiet mind. Salt on the sill, Woolf on the shelf, and the deep water doing its slow work beneath it all.
If you would like proofreading or copy-editing support, I would be glad to help. I am also a native German speaker, so I can assist with German-language material or translation checks.
